A Collection of milled Halfcrowns
We are pleased to be able to offer for sale a collection of milled halfcrowns spanning the full period from Oliver Cromwell until 1967. The collection has been assembled over a number of years and includes an almost full run of coins with most dates and types represented. These include a few very rare examples seldom seen on the market, namely 1703 plain below bust, 1726 small roses and plumes, 1823 first reverse and 1841. Although the collection comprises few truely choice examples, the collector has clearly made considerable effort to select coins with much eye appeal for the grade assigned. Many of the coins will be listed on this website from January onwards, but please don't hesitate to contact us by telephone or email if you have any specific requirements.
