Coins for Sale
Norman
Please find our current stock of Norman coins for sale below. The coinage of Norman England is particularly popular amongst collectors because of the varied portraits and types produced. The early Norman coins of William I and early William II were generally well produced and changes in issue roughly every three years during these reigns give the collector significant scope. Coins can also be collected by mint as up to 70 mints were active during the reign of William I. As the reign of William II progressed, the standard of production progressively deteriorated and continued to do so during the reign of Henry I. Many of the coins of the troubled times of the Anarchy during the reign of Stephen are extremely rare.
If you have any specific requirements please let us know, we are also keen to purchase single items and collections of hammered coins.
