House of Stuart | Milled Silver

Anne (1702-1714)
Silver Halfcrown
1708, draped bust left, rev. crowned cruciform shields, angles plain, edge SEPTIMO, (SCBC 3604, ESC 1370)
Light tone over considerable mint bloom, extremely fine, certified and graded by NGC as AU 58
Collecting hints:
Anne halfcrowns are not rare and can be found in all grades of preservation. A worn coin loses considerable detail, and the finer strands of the hair are only present on the finest of examples. The more common dates should be collected in at least good very fine if possible
