London, pincone-mascle issue
c.1431-1432/3, pinecone stops (Whitton variety 2) and mascle after REX, rev. lis in second quarter, pinecone stops (Whitton varieties 2 and 3), 6.93g, (S.1824, N.1457). Nearly extremely fine and extremely rare.
Note: Wax deposit on the reverse shows that an image of this coin was taken, presumably for a sales catalogue, in the first half of the 20th century or earlier. The provenance as yet remains untraced.
