Oxford mint, declaration type, 1643, Shrewsbury horseman

mm.-, Shrewsbury obverse, plume in field, 29.61g (S.2946A, Brooker obv 869-72, rev 870, N.2405). Irregular flan as struck, but of almost full weight, reverse with some original colour in legends, obverse nicely toned. Fields almost perfect and a good equestrian portrait. Good VF
