Silver Penny
Two line type, horizontal trefoil
+EADMUND REX around small cross, M with arched M (Derby style), rev. moneyer's name in two lines with crosses between and a trefoil of pellets above and below, WIGEARIN, R retrograde, 1.34g, (S.1105, N.688). Almost extremely fine
Note:
Believed struck from unique dies, Wigeard was a Northampton moneyer (c.f. H. Pagan). Horizontal Rosette normally associated with Derby, very unusual as a Horizontal Trefoil
