Silver Sixpence
Nicholas Briot's coinage, first milled issue, 1631-2
Briot's early bust with falling lace collar. R. Square-topped shield over long cross fourchee. mm. flower and B/B, 2.99g (S.2855, N. 2301). Tiny mark in obverse field before forehead and small weak patch to the crown, but superb surfaces, nicely toned and nearly extremely fine.
