Silver Penny
Light coinage (c.780?-792), south eastern mint
Moneyer ALHMUND, obv. OFAR in the angles of a cross fleury with a lozenge centre, rev. ALHMUN in two lines divided by a line of pellets with fleury ends, a latin cross above and D below, 1.25g (S.904, N.282). Superb metal for this, about extremely fine and very rare in this grade.
