Tower mint, Group II, 2nd horseman, type 2a
mm. harp over rose over plume/harp, 29.71g (S. 2755, Francis 29, FRC dies X*/XIV, Brooker 246 same dies, N.2193). Good fine/almost very fine.
An extremely rare die combination with only a single example noted by Cooper in the 'seven major collections' examined by him. This was Lingford lot 94 which became part of the Brooker collection (Brooker 246).
