Silver Halfcrown
York mint, Type 6, tall horse, rev. with oval garnished shield
Mm. lion, 1643-4, 14.79g (S.2868, Brooker 1082-1085, N.2314). Fault free surfaces, attractively toned good VF.
Note: Brooker did not have an example struck from these dies. The floral spray is smaller, the left spray having a large pellet either side and the right having a large pellet after CHRISTO. The flaw to the upper right of the shield is a diw flaw present on all examples struck from this obverse die.
