Crowned bust facing, mm. sun and rose 2/sun and rose 3, 2.86g, (S.2157, N.1679). A superb example, evenly toned, good very fine and very full for this.

The description in the Spink sale adds the following:
Mintmark sun and rose 3, with only four rays to the sun and a distinctive flat bottomed petal at 6 o´clock, is rare, and is usually found on coins struck on a small thick flan. Only one other example of a Richard III groat with the mule marks sun and rose 2/3 appears to survive
