Group II, type 2c, struck in pewter from false dies
Contemporary forgery, obv. reads MA BR FR ET HIB, rev. retrograde G in REGNO and arms of shield in 4th quarter transposed, m.m. tun on reverse only, not known for 2c on official dies, 9.31g, (JGB 1186 (same dies); cf. N.2207; cf. S.2771). Full and round, a few edge knocks and patches of corrosion, otherwise about as struck, about VF.
