SeriesGf, king standing in ship facing, holding sword and shield, no marks before ED, saltire stops, rev. ornate cross with lis terminals, small E in centre of cartouche, crown over lion in each angle, tressure of eight arcs with fleurs in spandrels, top lis with annulets either side, saltire stops, mm. cross 3, 7.74g, (S.1490, N.1182). Struck on a full weight but compact flan, closed crack at 9 o'clock (repaired?), otherwise good very fine
