Post-treaty period, 1369-1377, French title, Calais mint
Flag at stern , E and pellet in centre of reverse, mm. cross pattee, (without pellets), post-treaty lettering , 7.61g (S.1521, N.1281) . Good VF and scarce.
Edward III post-treaty nobles are generally scarcer than pre-treaty or treaty period nobles mainly because fewer were coined in the first place due to lack of bullion.
