Gold Laurel
Third coinage (1619-1625), 2nd medium square headed bust with 'SS' tie ends
mm. spur rowel, 8.99g, (S.2638, N.2112). Die flaw running through R of REX, some minor doubling on reverse but generally well struck on a full and well prepared flan. A most pleasing example of this rare type, about extremely fine.
