Collecting hints:
Sovereigns are a forever popular area of collecting, and 'shield back' sovereigns particularly so. Earlier dates tend to be scarcer and they are collected in all grades, the lower grades commanding a small premium over the bullion value, whilst high grade examples fetch strong prices as numismatic collector coins.
