Gold Half Sovereign
1821, laureate head left, rev. crowned garnished shield dividing ANNO 1821, (S.3802)
Mint state with excellent surfaces, previously in an NGC holder graded MS 63. Apparently the holder was damaged at some point which appears to have caused minor edge depressions at 1 and 7 o'clock where the slab insert held the coin. See provenance below
